Pooch and a Pint Winner

And the winner of the Pooch and a Pint challenge is …………..

                                      UXBRIDGE

with a total of $1310 for the New Animal Shelter

 

Adding the $828 raised in Port Perry, we reached $2138!

 

A million thanks to Jack and Sherry Doak of the Old Flame Brewing Co. (Port Perry) and Rob Garrard and Joanne Richter of The Second Wedge Brewing Co. (Uxbridge) for organizing this great event in support of the new shelter.

 

Dogs and humans alike loved the event despite the very un-spring weather. Watch for pictures in the next couple of days.

 

And thank you to our fabulous volunteers who helped out in both locations. We would like to spotlight one fellow who wasn’t actually a volunteer but was there to support his wife, and ended up almost single-handedly managing the dogs in the Uxbridge pop up dog park in the freezing cold. Thanks you Rob Christiansen!!

 

Before the day ended, Jack hinted that there just must be another Pooch and a Pint in July – when the weather is almost guaranteed to be warmer. Keep watching this page for details……
