Winner of Early Bird Draw

Congratulations to the lucky winner of our Early Bird prize for the upcoming Gimme Shelter Gala – Christine Vos of Vos’ Independent in Port Perry. Christine won a pair of diamond earrings valued at $1,000 that were generously donated by Scott Rutledge, of Rutledge Jewellers. Vos’ Independent, a long-time supporter of the shelter, purchased a table of eight for the gala and Christine held the lucky ticket. “I was quite surprised that my ticket was drawn, but thrilled to win such a great prize,” said Christine.

Rutledge Jewellers has been a key supporter of the New Animal Shelter for Uxbridge-Scugog. Scott commented “I had a little dog [Chippy] that meant a lot to me and this is my way of supporting something I believe in.”
